The PC Party of NL Annual General Meeting and Election of Officers is set for September 30 - October 2, 2022 at the Greenwood Inn and Suites in Corner Brook, NL.
The PC Party of Newfoundland and Labrador, Stephenville - Port au Port PC District Association, and YPC welcome you to beautiful Corner Brook for our 2022 Annual General Meeting and Election of Officers.
2022 marks 50 years since the PC Party of NL and Leader Frank Moores defeated the Smallwood Dynasty. This year, we want to recognize all of our members who have supported our party over the last 50 years. This is a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. With a leadership campaign on the horizon, new policy initiatives being undertaken, and an active grassroots membership, the next few years are shaping up to be exciting times for the PC Party of Newfoundland and Labrador. We want you to come back, join us, and help us be ready to form the next PC Government in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Friday 30 September
Check-In will commence at 3:00 p.m. with events to follow throughout the evening. The evening session will begin with a Indigenous prayer to commemorate the National Day of Truth and Reconcilliation (September 30th). Following this we will hear remarks from our Party President, Shane Skinner, and PC Party Leader David Brazil.
Following these opening remarks, we will be hosting a tribute to all the former MHAs who served under the PC Party banner since 1972. This year marks 50 years since our party defeated the Smallwood Dynasty. There will be more information to come on this portion of the evening soon. If you have any memorabilia that you would like to share for the development of our slideshow/video to pay tribute to the PC MHAs of the past, please get in touch with Nathan Ryan by emailing (nathan@nathanryan.ca).
Saturday 1 October
In addition to the usual agenda items, we will hold discussions regarding ongoing commitee work by valued members of our party. At this time, we will also hold our nominations for the elections of officers. Voting will take place electronically throughout the afternoon. The aftenoon session will consist of a special panel, with details TBA.
There will be a banquet 3 course dinner with Canadian Paralympic Champion Katarina Roxon commencing at 6:30 p.m. At this time, we will also present the Honourary Lifetime Membership Awards along with the Long Term Service Award and Andrew Furneaux Legacy Award.
To conclude the Saturday evening portion of the AGM, we will be hosting live music.
Sunday 2 October
The PC Party Caucus will host a send-off breakfast before our members head back home. This is a great opportunity for party members to reflect on the weekend.
