(February 2, 2021) – "I am appalled to hear of the vandalism of a Mosque under construction in Conception Bay South. It's shocking and unacceptable.

The people of Newfoundland and Labrador pride ourselves in being welcoming, inclusive, and taking care of our neighbours.

We are better than this - we have to be. Racism, Islamophobia, or any other prejudice, cannot be tolerated in our society.
