(September 10, 2021) – David Brazil, Leader of the Official Opposition and MHA for Conception Bay East - Bell Island, on behalf of the entire PC Opposition Caucus, is encouraging residents of the province, especially those on the Eastern side of the island, to take the necessary precautions in advance of the incoming weather.

“I would like this opportunity to encourage all residents of this province to take the necessary precautions in advance of Hurricane Larry approaching our province. The Provincial Government has resources available online for emergency preparedness and I encourage everyone to ensure they are ready” says Brazil.

As Hurricane Larry approaches, I also wish to express my support to the front-line workers and non-profits who are taking preventative measures and preparing to respond to any emergencies which may happen.
“Our front line and emergency workers are essential to ensuring we are all safe. Do your part in the next couple of days to stay as safe as possible. When everyone takes precautions, some emergency situations can be avoided,” says Brazil.
