(September 8, 2022, St. John’s) – David Brazil, Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition and MHA for Conception Bay East-Bell Island, is expressing his condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“The legacy of Queen Elizabeth II is unrivaled in our history. After 70 years on the throne, the Queen saw the Commonwealth through war and peace, through tragedy and triumph, serving as a steady, reassuring hand through it all. We shall not see a more prolific reign in our lifetime, her dedication to public service unmatched in history,” said Brazil.

“On behalf of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition, I send my deepest condolences to the Royal Family and the millions who mourn Her Majesty’s passing around the world at this difficult time. The world as we know it has changed forever with the passing of Her Majesty. May she Rest in Peace.”
