(November 16, 2022, St. John’s) – David Brazil, PC Official Opposition Leader and MHA for Conception Bay East-Bell Island, joins with millions around the world in remembering those lost and injured on our roadways on this Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims.

“Every year we see tragedies on our roadways cause trauma and grief to families throughout our province. Today, we remember those lost and pay our respects to those recovering from injuries sustained on our roads. We must thank the dedicated first responders who put themselves in harms way to save the lives of those in need,” said Brazil.

“Today is a somber day, but we know we can do better to keep people safe on our roadways – especially in areas where construction is taking place. Reduce your speed, observe all signage, and do your part to ensure everyone makes it home at the end of the day.”
