(June 2, 2023, St. John’s) – Paul Dinn, PC Official Opposition Shadow Ministers for Health and Community Services, and Jeff Dwyer, for Persons with Disabilities, Seniors, and Aging, are today recognizing Seniors Month in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Seniors Month is an opportunity to highlight the many contributions that the seniors of Newfoundland and Labrador have made to Newfoundland and Labrador.

“We would like to highlight the important contributions of seniors in our province. The respect and dignity of seniors is something we care about deeply and will tirelessly advocate on their behalf,” said Dinn.

The PC Official Opposition has presented numerous petitions in the House of Assembly advocating on behalf of seniors. Recently, Dinn has raised the issues of home care, access to family physicians, and long-term care.

“I wish to extend my gratitude and appreciation to all of the seniors in our province and the individual contributions they have made, and will continue to make. Seniors built our province, and we need to ensure that they are treated with the due respect that they deserve,” said Dwyer.

“We will continue to fight for better supports for the seniors of our province that have contributed so much.”
