St. John's, NL (October 30, 2020) – Paul Dinn, PC Official Opposition Shadow Minister for Immigration, Skills and Labour, and MHA for Topsail - Paradise, is calling on the provincial government to continue to closely monitor the Dominion strike action during delicate collective bargaining negotiations.
“We were pleased to see the parties back at the bargaining table this week after a concerning event which took place between the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and union members during their legal strike action,” says Dinn.
Dominion workers have been on strike in Newfoundland and Labrador since late August.
“The PC Caucus stands in solidarity with Dominion workers and their families at this difficult time. These front line workers stood up to provide essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic and it is the duty of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to support them in their time of need,” says Dinn.
