A seasoned community leader with an impressive track record, Rhonda Power brings a well-rounded set of skills and work experience to the table. A native of Placentia, she moved back to her hometown after graduating from university (BA French). A 27-year career working for the Town of Placentia followed. A variety of roles throughout Rhonda’s civic government career gave her the opportunity to hone her skills and knowledge in such areas as community engagement, government programming, economic development, event and project management and communications.

She is passionate about cultural arts, heritage tourism and community recreation and is an advocate for better healthcare in rural communities.

Rhonda now works in the renewable energy sector as a community liaison officer. Rhonda’s community involvement extends beyond her work life, and she is seen as a trusted and respected volunteer in her community.

Her extensive volunteer record includes being an International High School Student Host for 10 years and chairing countless cultural and community events in the region.
