The Nomination Meeting to select the Progressive Conservative candidate for Carbonear-Trinity-Bay de Verde will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

Following the close of nominations and the candidate vetting process, two nominees have been accepted as candidates seeking to represent the PC Party in the upcoming general election for the district of Carbonear-Trinity-Bay de Verde:

• Mr. Riley Balsom
• Mr. Jeremy Howell

Voting will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the following locations: 

• Carbonear: Masonic Lodge, 3 Masonic Avenue, Carbonear
• Small Point-Adam's Cove-Blackhead-Broad Cove: Community Centre, 585-591 Main Highway, Small Point
• Old Perlican: John Hoskins Community Centre, 575 A Main Street, Old Perlican
• New Perlican: Community Centre, Main Road, New Perlican

To participate in the nomination process, individuals must meet the following criteria as per the Constitution of the Progressive Conservative Party of Newfoundland and Labrador:

• Be a resident of the Carbonear-Trinity-Bay de Verde district.
• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be a registered Member or Supporter of the Progressive Conservative Party of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Membership applications can be completed online at www.pcnl.ca/membership or submitted using a paper application, also available on the Party’s website.

The deadline to register or renew a Party Membership to vote in this nomination process is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025.
