Wakeham Releases Fully Costed Progressive Conservative Platform: Better Healthcare, Lower Taxes, and Safer Communities for All of Us
(St. John’s, NL - October 8, 2025) – Tony Wakeham, Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Newfoundland and Labrador, today released his Party’s full and fully costed election platform, For All of Us. The comprehensive plan outlines a clear vision for the future of Newfoundland and Labrador, focused on better healthcare, lower taxes, and safer communities.
The complete platform can be found online at bit.ly/PCPlatform2025.
“Real leadership is not about the problems you ignore — it’s about the problems you fix,” said Wakeham. “For 10 years, the Liberals have had total control of government. At the end of the day, health care is the worst in the country, life has become more expensive, and crime is rising faster here than in any other province.”
Building on the platform highlights unveiled during the first week of the campaign, Wakeham said the full document demonstrates that the Progressive Conservative Party is ready to govern with a responsible, realistic, and much needed plan for Newfoundland and Labrador’s future.
“While our platform contains our vision for the whole of Newfoundland and Labrador and for many industries, my first priority will be to provide better healthcare, lower taxes, and safer communities for all of us,” said Wakeham.
“That is what is reflected in our platform — practical solutions to make life better for all of us.”
Wakeham called on voters to turn the page on a decade of Liberal mismanagement.
“Newfoundlanders and Labradorians deserve a government that is here for all of us — not just for themselves,” he said. “That’s what our plan delivers. So on October 14th, I’m asking Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to vote for better healthcare, lower taxes, and safer communities for all of us.”
